I began my career as a data analyst and worked across very different industries — fuel distribution, station technologies, asset management and logistics. In each of them I asked the same question: what does this company base its decisions on, and is that decision really grounded in reliable data?
Over time, data warehousing and business intelligence moved to the centre of my work. Modelling on SQL Server, ETL processes with SSIS, the reporting layer, and the automation that keeps all of it running. The deeper I went technically, the clearer it became that the value is not in the query itself, but in how quickly the decision it feeds can be made.
Today I serve as Chief Technology Officer at GFT Logistics, where I lead the technology strategy. I bring data infrastructure, artificial intelligence, systems management and software under a single roadmap, and position technology as a lever for growth rather than a cost line. That requires technology to speak the language of the business — and a good part of my time goes exactly there.
